On May 25, 2026, The Pink Ribbon Place announced Belinda Perez as the winner of the 2026 Pink on Parade T-shirt Design Contest, earning 826 votes for her inspiring sunflower design.

“The sunflower inspired this design because it says everything I’ve learned since my own path with breast cancer began,” Belinda shared. “Sunflowers stand tall, rise, and shine toward the sun. They also turn toward each other for strength. That’s exactly what this community has been for me.”

Belinda’s breast cancer was detected early through her annual mammogram, and she credits The Pink Ribbon Place for providing support, friendship, and encouragement throughout her journey. Through support groups, oncology massages, yoga, Aquamotion, and workshops, she found a community that helped her navigate treatment and recovery.

One of the most meaningful connections she made was with the “Pink Sassy Ladies,” a group of women she met through a Radical Remission workshop who continue to gather and support one another.

“She walked every step of this path with me,” Belinda said. “Whatever it took, she was there for me. If she’s your friend, your family, and especially your daughter, you are the luckiest person in the world.”

Today, Belinda’s sunflower design serves as a symbol of hope, determination, and the strength of community.
