A Message from our CEO

Dear Friend of the Foundation,

At Riverside Community Health Foundation (RCHF), we are deeply committed to the health and safety of RCHF and Community Settlement Association (CSA) clients, volunteers, neighbors, friends, and staff every day. That is why we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it unfolds. As always, your health and safety is our top priority. In consideration of the most recent developments, and in adherence with Governor Gavin Newsom, the Department of Public Health and Safety, and local authorities’ suggestions, we have decided to go virtual with our programing. For our full schedule please visit www.rchf.org/schedule.

Community Settlement Association services have been adjusted and moved online where possible. See below for details.

We will continue to closely monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and continue to take additional proactive preventative measures during all other RCHF and CSA activities to keep our community as healthy as possible, including:

•  Additional sanitization of high-volume points of contacts (door handles, restrooms, etc.)
•  Modifying our programs and activities to follow recommended guidelines
•  Hand sanitizers for guests and staff during all of our activities; and
•  Reiterating with our staff all recommendations for health and safety to ensure that they are well-versed and adherent to best practices.

We encourage you to follow the standard precautions outlined by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For local resources, please refer to Riverside University Health System – Public Health. And while we realize that your New Year’s resolution drive to get fit or learn can be strong, we ask that if you aren’t feeling well to please stay home.

Appreciating the unknown and changing nature of these conditions, we will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and to follow the advice and directions of various health agencies and our local officials.

We will, of course, keep you updated with further any changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Dan Anderson, D.Min President/CEO

Notice of Temporary Closures

We are deeply committed to your health and safety.

We have been actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it unfolds, and over the last 24 hours, it has become even clearer that drastic measures are vital to slow the progression of the virus and eliminate exposures for as many people as possible.

In light of the actions of our State & Federal Government, the Department of Public Health, and other local authorities, we have decided to close the following locations effective Monday, March 16th at the following locations:

•  Riverside Community Health Foundation – 4275 Lemon Street

•  The Pink Ribbon Place – 4275 Lemon Street

•  Community Settlement Association – 4366 Bermuda Avenue

•  Pink Ribbon Thrift – 5924 Magnolia Avenue

Closures, cancellations, and postponements are subject to change, and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Please know that this measure is us taking a stand for the community as a whole. We have a responsibility to those that are most at risk. As always, we want to be at the forefront of compassionate decision making and less in the space of reacting. This week will allow us to assess new information as it becomes available and allow us to respond accordingly.

We will, of course, keep you updated with further any changes.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Aviso De Cierre Temporal

•  Riverside Community Health Foundation – 4275 Lemon Street

•  The Pink Ribbon Place – 4275 Lemon Street

•  Community Settlement Association – 4366 Bermuda Avenue

•  Pink Ribbon Thrift – 5924 Magnolia Avenue
