Fueling Adolescent Communities with Truths and Strategies, or F.A.C.T.S, is Riverside Community Health Foundation’s teen health education program. Riverside Community Health Foundation has been providing teen pregnancy prevention programs and services in the community for over the past 15 years through its school districts and youth community centers by providing resources and knowledge about making safe choices. RCHF is one of the 22 agencies in California to receive the Personal Responsibility and Education Program grant which aims to reduce rates of births and STIs including HIV among high-need youth populations. In addition, F.A.C.T.S. offers life after high-school presentations which is a series focused on different aspects of life after high school including, healthy relationships, communication and nutrition.

About:

  • Making Proud Choices!
    An STD, HIV, and teen pregnancy curriculum in alignment with the California Healthy Youth Act. It is a six-part evidence-based curriculum that provides adolescents with the knowledge, motivation, and skills necessary to change their behaviors in ways that will reduce their risk of pregnancy or contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
  • Parent Presentations
    Presentations aiming to provide parents of adolescents with basic knowledge and skills to improve communication with their youth and address the topic of sexual health.
  • One Stop Presentations
    General presentations for youth covering topics such a drugs and substance abuse, healthy relationships, consent, birth control options, sexually transmitted diseases, and many more.
