Project t.e.a.m.

Project t.e.a.m. exists to help teens respond to their unique social pressures and risky youth behaviors. Our aim is to promote sexual health and responsibility, share factual information regarding the risks of Sexually Transmitted Infections and unplanned pregnancy in a non-threatening environment. This curriculum provides youth with age appropriate, practical strategies for goal setting, decision-making, maintaining self-control, and resisting peer pressure. The program successfully runs in area high schools, middle schools and alternative education sites.

An 11 year old, Diana summarized a Project t.e.a.m middle school class, "I love this class, and I am glad we get to talk about things that we are going through both at school and at home. I don’t have too many friends, and I have no one at home I can ask questions to."
