The Pink Patch Project

Riverside Police Department has partnered with the Pink Patch Project to promote Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October by wearing a Pink Riverside Police patch on their uniform. The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. All uniformed personnel will have the option of wearing the Pink Riverside Police patch on their uniform as a reminder of our dedication and commitment to this project from October 1, 2017 – October 31, 2017. You may now purchase the pink patches with cash or check (payable to The Riverside Police Foundation) for $10.00 each. P&P Uniforms will switch the patches and put the regular patch back on for $4.00 per shirt. Proceeds from the sale of the patches will go to The Pink Ribbon Place, Riverside’s first breast cancer resource center. For more information or to purchase the commemorative pink patches please contact, Officer Cheryl Hayes at (951) 826-5573 or at chayes@riversideca.gov.
